Directions to the University Union at WIU
From Hwy 67:
Once in Macomb, take Highway 67 and turn west onto University Drive. Continue to head west until you come to a T in the road, turn left (South) onto Western Avenue. Follow this road until you come to West Adams St. Turn left on West Adams St. Follow W. Adams Street until you reach North Charles Street. Turn left onto N. Charles Street and continue until you reach West Murray Street. University Union is located on the right.
From Hwy 136 East:
Once in Macomb, follow Hwy 136 until it splits with Hwy 67. Follow Hwy 67 (turn North) right on N Lafayette. Continue on N Lafayette for approx. 3/4 mile until you come to a stop light. Turn left on University Drive. Follow University drive until you come to a T in the road. Turn left on Western Avenue. Follow this road until you come to West Adams St. Turn left on West Adams St. Follow W. Adams Street until you reach North Charles Street. Turn left onto N. Charles Street and continue until you reach West Murray Street. University Union is located on the right.
From Hwy 136 West:
Once in Macomb, turn left onto Wigwam Hollow Road. Follow this until you come to a 4-way stop at W Adams St. Turn right on W Adams St. Turn left onto N. Charles Street and continue until you reach West Murray Street. University Union is located on the right.
Parking:
Metered parking is available at lot N. This is the parking lot located at the bottom of the hill next to the football field. An overflow parking lot is located next to Cinemas 1 & 2 on University Drive. To reach the overflow lot, go back to Western Avenue and turn right. Continue on Western Ave. until you reach University Drive. Turn right on University Drive. Follow University Drive for about 3/4 - 1 mile. You will see the overflow parking on the left side of the road next to Cinemas 1 & 2. There will be plenty of shuttle’s at the overflow parking lot to take you to the Union.
