Customer Service Specialist
The Customer Service Specialist communicates with Carthage Veterinary Services, Ltd. (CVS) clients regarding the ordering of supplies, medicines and other items. This position works closely with the Director of Carthage Supply to provide quotes, services, on-site visits, and more to the client base. The Customer Service Specialist also creates sales orders for clients and issues purchase orders to vendors.

This position requires an analytical skills and close attention to detail, knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook programs, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients via email and telephone. The Customer Service Specialist must also possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to stay calm and empathetic under high stress situations. This individual must have a positive, friendly and outgoing attitude and self-motivated and driven to exceed the customer’s expectations. Wants to take ownership of the task at hand and is committed to following through to ensure customer’s satisfaction. Must be able to multitask, handling urgent phone calls, out of the ordinary requests, analytical thinking, and a fast paced environment.
