The financial analyst will provide support to the CVS corporate accounting department. This position will be responsible for analyzing financial data and creating financial models for management to make solid financial decisions. This position will also work on identifying process improvements within the accounting department to ensure accuracy and improved efficiency.



  • Become proficient in MAS 200 accounting system
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with forecasts
  • Identify and drive process improvements & develop automated reporting tools
  • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
  • Become proficient in time and billing including understanding the rules regarding classification of time and billing across companies as well as posting transactions daily
  • Assist in monthly billing of other CVS revenue generating departments
  • Assist in month end statement processing and reporting
  • Oversee, manages, and implements projects as assigned
  • Provides reports to members of management as requested
  • Assists other team members in the accounting department as requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned



  1. Minimum of Associate degree in Accounting plus 3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
  2. Advance knowledge of Excel
  3. Familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful
  4. Strong quantitative and analytical competency
  5. Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
