BASIC FUNCTION:

The IT Business Analyst position is responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting, the systems, software, and technical processes of our corporate employees and managed clients.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in general IT operations and client support
  • Build and maintain relationships with other departments to create and drive initiatives
  • Participate in planning and implementing systems automation as required for better efficiency and improved support
  • Analyze business process to develop efficiencies and automation
  • Conduct assessments to ensure process are achieving the desired effect
  • Develop and maintain documentation for supported applications, processes, and training material for internal employees and IT staff
  • Provide training to clients and staff
  • Provide operations support including account management, log analysis, troubleshooting and service optimization
  • Install network cabling.
  • Create and Install Wireless Networks.
  • Visit client sites for troubleshooting, support, and repair as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in technology
  • Adhere to the company’s confidentiality policies
  • Able to lift 40-50 lbs. as necessary
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned by management

 

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office products especially Office 365
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects
  • Familiarity with networks, switches, routers, and cabling
  • Familiarity with (VOIP) telephone systems
  • The ability to work in a team environment and on independent projects
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • High attention to detail in planning, reporting and execution of assigned work
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and equipment maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

 

ADDITIONAL BENEFITIONAL SKILLS PREFERRED:

  • Experience with Fiber Optic Cables and Connections,
  • The ability to effectively communicate technical information in English and Spanish

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree in computer related field or equivalent education/work experience, is preferred.
