Records Bureau Data Analyst

The Records Bureau Data Analyst will divide their time between 1) writing clear reports and creating effective visualizations for various members of Carthage Veterinary Service, Ltd. and their clients at varying levels of seniority, and 2) being directly responsible for the data integrity of assigned client farms.  This position reports directly to the Records Bureau Manager.



  • Perform data analysis that drives decision-making
  • Compiles accurate production reports for veterinary, production or client consumption
  • Builds queries and designs reporting that help drive analytics
  • Stay educated on process methodology, current data visualization and data analysis techniques
  • Develop deliverables to clients and stakeholders which may include, reports, data visualizations, data modeling and system documentation
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, statistical mathematics, and visualization tools
  • Maintains the integrity of assigned client records using various methods
  • Conducts trainings on the current records programs as needed
  • Conducts farm visits, as needed



  • Strong experience in Excel is required
  • Working knowledge of relational database systems is required
  • Ability to write SQL queries is required
  • Power BI or similar experience is preferred
  • Ability to write DAX functions is preferred
  • Ability to define time requirements based on complex tasks is essential
  • Report development and data visualization
  • Microsoft data certification (current) is a plus



  1. BA or BS in Agriculture, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other related field, AND
  2. Experience in data extraction, visualization and analysis using Power BI, SQL or similar, OR
  3. Any similar combination of education and experience.
