SALES & PRODUCT COORDINATOR

 

Job Overview:  We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Sales & Product Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our company growth in 2020! In this dual-role, you will serve as a point of contact for clients looking to purchase products, while providing support for the customer service team to ensure world-class client satisfaction. This is a wide-reaching position that encompasses sales, marketing, customer service and leadership, with the opportunity for growth.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive customer interaction relations
  • Lead, mentor, and coach members of the team on best customer service practices
  • Coordinate special projects that aim to improve department efficiencies and achieve company goals
  • Prioritize special projects and implement in timely manner
  • Assist in coaching and training of team members on new and existing products
  • Resolve all customer issues in a timely, efficient and least costly manner
  • Promote Mobile Ordering Software to clients for improved customer service
  • Identify and work with IT team on development of additional features of Mobile Ordering software
  • Develop a detailed understanding of swine products and services.  This may include travel to clients to understand their business and needs
  • Provide recommendations on process improvement and drive implementation
  • Seek cost reduction opportunities
  • Seek alternate products and alternate sources of supply
  • Focus on inventory management including assisting with regularly scheduled physical inventories
  • Assist others in department as directed or asked
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to multitask, handle urgent phone calls, out of the ordinary requests, analytical thinking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred AND
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing and/or data analytics

  • Possess good interpersonal communication skills

  • Possess good math, analytical, and decision making skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as accept direction from others

  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Ability to multi-task
