Sales & Product Coordinator

Basic Function: The Sales and Product Coordinator will be responsible for serving as a point of contact for clients looking to purchase products while providing support for the customer service team. The Sales and Product Coordinator will handle all aspects of sales, marketing, business development, as well as, data analytics.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with existing accounts and new prospects
  • Draft and send quotations for customers
  • Set up new clients for purchasing and continue follow up to maintain business
  • Perform follow up calls with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any issues
  • Visit client farms
  • Help coordinate and work tradeshows
  • Analyze sales and client data to identify trends and changes in purchasing
  • Promote Mobile Ordering Software to clients for increased usage of the product
  • Identify and work with IT team on additional features of Mobile Ordering software
  • Resolve all customer complaints in a timely, efficient and least costly manner
  • Develop a detailed understanding of swine products and services
  • Develop a detailed understanding of swine product manufacturers
  • Seek cost reduction opportunities
  • Seek alternate products and alternate sources of supply
  • Assist with regularly scheduled physical inventories
  • Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge and Skills:

Must have a positive, friendly and outgoing attitude and be self-motivated. Wants to take ownership of the task at hand and is committed to following through to ensure client satisfaction. Must be able to multitask, handle urgent phone calls, out of the ordinary requests, analytical thinking, and a fast paced environment.


Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred AND
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing and/or data analytics


Job skills required

  • Possess good interpersonal communication skills

  • Possess good math, analytical, and decision making skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as accept direction from others

  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Ability to multi-task
