Megan Bloemer, DVM

Megan Bloemer is a veterinarian with Carthage Veterinary Service, Ltd. (CVS) and is currently serving as a production veterinarian with Professional Swine Management, Ltd. (PSM). Megan joined the practice in 2020.

Megan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary medicine emphasis in 2016 from the University of Illinois. While on campus, Megan was actively involved in the 4-H House Cooperative Sorority and College of ACES Student Advancement Committee. She graduated in 2020 from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.  During veterinary school, she spent time with several of the nation’s top pork producers in different geographic regions of the country.

Megan is certified through the National Pork Board’s Pork Quality Assurance Plus Program. Megan is a member of the American Association of Swine Veterinarians and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
