Transcriptionist / Administrative Assistant
This position provides administrative support to veterinarians and management team with a variety of clerical and transcription related tasks. Primary responsibilities include transcription of veterinarian dictation, preparation of professional documents and presentations. Other responsibilities include answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, as well as additional clerical duties.

Knowledge & Skills:
Prior experience working in a professional office environment is required. Position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Education/Training/Experience
Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Possess excellent phone etiquette
Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently on assignments as well as accept direction on given assignments
Ability to work under frequent time pressures
Ability to adapt easily to change
Able to multi-task
Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk for extended periods of time
